Another cold, drizzly morning. El Nino is doing a good job pumping moisture to us this winter. Birding was pretty dull at Santa Ana NWR as I slogged around the muddy trails. It would be nice if the refuge would spend a few bucks and spread some caliche on the Pintail Lakes trail.
